DESCRIPTION:
The intermediate Spanish course geared towards who have a previous knowledge of Spanish the ones who want to improve their Spanish in a dynamic and efficient way, always according to the needs of each individual. This course is characterized by putting students at the center of the learning process and prioritizing the meaningful use of the language, offering a modern and non-stereotypical vision of Spain and Spanish-speaking countries. Here I am to help you out with your goals!
Describe places: express existence and location; talk about climate and weather; seasons of the year... making use of grammatical resources such as the use of the verb “hay”, “estar”, superlatives and quantifiers.
Express necessity: buy in stores, identify objects, ask about products and ask for prices, talk about preferences, etc. Grammatical resources on demonstratives (this, that, these, those etc.)
Express intentions: explain the reasons for what we do using the determinate and indeterminate articles; uses of para, por and porque. Talk about leisure and free time activities.
Talking about past experiences: Grammatical use of the past tense (pretérito indefinido and pretérito perfecto) to be able to talk about the past. Talk about skills and aptitudes; qualities and defects of people; professions, character adjectives; quantifiers… making use of the verb saber/poder + infinitive
Talk about habits: describe feelings, make recommendations using different lexical resources that help us express how we feel using pronominal verbs and the verbs “costar y sentirse”.
