Description:	This course is suitable for individuals who wish to develop skills in Irish Sign Language for effective communication with deaf and hard of hearing relatives, employees and customers in a variety of situations. Vocabulary, Grammar, Expressions: family; numbers; hospital; holidays; colours; clothes; food; drink etc. 1st class is introducing each other, Finger alphabet and greeting. 2nd Class is Family circle 3rd Class is Calendar 4th Class is time 5th Class is go over the 1st four weeks 6th class is facial expressions 7th class is clothes and colour 8th class is eat, drink and food, medical basic 9th class House and social media 10th class Animal and sports. Participants who attend seven or more classes will be awarded an attendance certificate. There is no assessment needed at the end of the course. Please Note: Galway Community College reserves the right to make changes to any course, to limit the number of places available or to withdraw a course. The content of the course description can be altered/amended to meet the standards of the participants on the course.
