Welcome to Galway Community College of Further Education and thank you for considering us as a venue to participate in a hobby or interest pursuit or continue your education on our part time evening programme.
Galway Community College of Further Education offers more than 60 part-time evening programmes over many disciplines and currently caters for approximately 500 learners annually. There is a wide range of relevant accredited and general interest programmes available every September and January. The programmes on offer are reviewed and updated bi-annually, reflecting changing demands and feedback from learners and industry. Our evening programmes support those in employment or seeking employment and provide others with the chance to explore new pursuits.

Part-Time Programme Deferrals
Unfortunately, we cannot facilitate applicants who wish to defer a registered place, either before or after a programme commences, to another term.

Online Registration
Register online for the programme of your choice by selecting the “Part-Time Course you want to apply for” and click on “Apply” button and following the simple step by step registration process.
Registration is now open for courses online at www.galwaycc.ie by credit or debit card. Postal Orders/Bank drafts also accepted by post. (WE DO NOT ACCEPT CASH).
Fees will not be refunded after registration. The disabled and registered unemployed may be entitled to a 20% reduction in fees in certain viable courses, if evidence to support that claim is presented at time of enrolment. Therefore, you cannot register online if availing of a 20% reduction. You need to contact the office.

Programme Cancellation
For a programme to commence it is necessary to enrol a minimum number of participants. If this number is not reached the programme will be cancelled. Participants will be notified and a full fee refund will be processed.
