Description

Basic woodworking skills such as marking out, sawing and chiselling will be concentrated on throughout the duration of this course.

The course follows the following guidelines,

• Use of hand tools
• use of Power tools
• developing muscle memory when working with your hands
• basic carpentry skills
• Joints used in carpentry
• Adhesion accessories used in carpentry i.e. dowels, glues, plugs, biscuits etc
• decoration on wood using routers etc.
• completing a simple project based on what is learned
• projects can be brought home.
